Makeovers, Martinis and Shopping – Oh My! Beauty Bar returns to local Bellingham lounge
Beauty Bar, Bellingham’s premiere evening spa, cocktail lounge and fashion event returns October 3rd from 7:30PM- Midnight at its place of conception, The Nightlight Lounge. For a mere entry fee of $10, Beauty Bar patrons can enjoy a complimentary spa service , shop the eclectic trunk, sip delicious beverages and dance the night away to music provided by Bellingham favorites DJ Deerhead and DJ Buckshot, with after party beats provided by DJ Jonesy. A mani, a cocktail and a new dress all under one roof - what more could you ask for?
Marking its fifth appearance in Bellingham, Beauty Bar will feature over twenty-five local businesses ranging from retail boutiques, spas and salons, fitness facilities to local and national beer and wine companies. Local cupcake bakery Icing on the Cake and foodie favorite Bay Leaf Soups will provide edible delights. A rotating model showcase will be on view throughout the evening featuring clothing and designs from trunk show boutiques and hair and makeup styles from service professionals featured at the event. In addition, patrons will receive a complimentary goodie bag filled with treats and surprises from national and local sponsors, as well as a ticket for the ongoing evening raffle. Guests are encouraged to come early to sign up for service treatments available throughout the venue and to bring a checkbook for great deals and steals in the trunk show arena.
Beauty Bar’s organizational body Project BHAM, a non-profit retail collective, is proud to be a part of a special partnership with DVSAS of Whatcom County. Project BHAM, works closely with DVSAS to raise awareness about their mission and invaluable services. This year Project BHAM will donate half of the evening’s profits to DVSAS in honor of their tireless work in the realm of aiding victims and survivors of domestic and sexual assault. In addition to donating proceeds to DVSAS, Project BHAM will be selling a $10 Beauty Bar camera tank top to benefit longtime Beauty Bar and Project BHAM photographer Gunther Jose Frank.
Beauty Bar tickets will be available from September 15th to October 2nd at The Paperdoll, Mi Shoes, Georgie Girls, Avalon Music, The Nightlight Lounge and Four Starrs Boutique. Tickets are also available online by visiting: www.nightlightlounge.com. October 3rd tickets will be available at the Race for the End of Domestic Violence at Bloedel Donovan Park 8:30AM -Noon and at the event venue.
