Victory Over Violence Luncheon: Friday, April 30Each year, over 200 business leaders, politicians, service providers, and community members join together at the Victory Over Violence Luncheon to celebrate survivors' victories over violence and support the essential crisis intervention and prevention education services provided by DVSAS. This year, we are pleased to host Lane Judson as the keynote speaker. Lane Judson’s daughter, Crystal Brame, was killed in a domestic violence murder-suicide in 2003 by her husband, the police chief of the Tacoma Police Department. Mr. Judson will speak of the pain behind this highly-publicized tragedy and discuss future implications for communities addressing domestic violence.
