Did you know that dating violence and sexual assault affects teens too? In fact, 40%of teenage girls ages 14 to 17 say they know someone their age who has been hit or beaten by a boyfriend.  And up to 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys are sexually assaulted by the age of 18.

DVSAS provides prevention education in middle schools and high schools across Whatcom County to help reduce the incidence of domestic violence and sexual assault.  We also provide education to local businesses, organizations, and community groups.  Check out the video below to learn more about the DVSAS teen prevention education program.
