The Empowerment Project
The Empowerment Project is designed to align with and satisfy many of Washington OPSI’s Health Education grade specific standards for Wellness, Safety, Sexual Health, and Social Emotional Health (specific outcomes can be provided upon request.) Our evidence based, 3 day curriculums for middle and high school students, known as The Empowerment Project, is available in two formats- both live, and self guided.
While remote instruction continues in Whatcom County, the live format of the Empowerment Project will be facilitated via video conferencing technology. While the medium may have changed, the curriculum still includes a variety of instruction methods and engaging activities. While the curriculum is intended to be facilitated over the course of 3, 45-60 minute lessons, this can be flexible. Please contact Shoshana Bass, Prevention Education Specialist, at sbass@dvsas.org with questions or to schedule The Empowerment Project.
