Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services


MISSION OF DVSAS: To support individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault and to lead the community toward ending these abuses of power. 


AGENCY INFORMATION: DVSAS services include a 24-hour help line, advocacy based counseling, legal advocacy, children’s programming, support groups, prevention education and a safe housing program. DVSAS provides services that are client-centered, trauma informed, and empowerment based. Last year over 3,000 individuals were served, 4,000 helpline calls were answered, and 3,000 middle and high school students were provided violence prevention education programs.



The Business Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the DVSAS business office including full-cycle bookkeeping and all financial reporting activities of the organization.  This position is also responsible for the management of the Douglas building including DVSAS space and the commercial spaces.  The Business Manager participates in the Management Team and provides staff support to the Internal Operations Committee and various Ad Hoc Committees.  This is a full time (1 FTE), exempt position, hired by and reporting to the Executive Director.
