Victory Over Violence Luncheon

Due to the public health emergency declared by the Whatcom County Executive and the Whatcom Health Board's recommendations to cancel or postpone non-essential gatherings of 10-50 people or more in an effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, the Victory over Violence Fundraising Luncheon, scheduled for April 3rd has been cancelled.

In an abundance of caution, DVSAS has made this tough decision to voluntarily cancel our event. We are planning to host a virtual event that you can attend at you leisure. More information on that coming soon!

Join us for a lunch buffet and a discussion about the impacts of domestic and sexual violence on our local community. Domestic violence and sexual assault are widespread in our culture and their influence on our community is significant. From public health, to social services, to housing and safety, domestic and sexual violence impact our entire community. Join us for a rousing and inspirational discussion on we can achieve victory over violence.

We will also be presenting the Kathleen Marshall Award to an individual that embodies the DVSAS mission and contributes to ending violence in our community.
